First trailer for Amy Winehouse film reveals the singer's fear of fame

LONDON — The first trailer for Amy, a forthcoming film about Amy Winehouse's all-too-brief and tumultuous life and career, was released on Thursday.

Helmed by Senna director Asif Kapadia, the film aims to tell Winehouse's story in her own words, using previously unseen archive footage and unheard tracksAmy will be released in the UK on July 3, with a U.S. release date yet to be announced.
