U.S. greenhouse gas emissions rise for second year in a row

The United States saw greenhouse gas emissions rise in 2014 for the second year in a row, according to a new report by the Department of Energy.

While the increase would seem to be unwelcome news for the Obama administration, which is trying to reduce emissions through federal regulations, there were signs that show the U.S. economy becoming less carbon-intensive
