Metallica's Kirk Hammett on horror, metal and his annual fear festival

In about a week, horror and metal fans will overtake the Rock Bar Theater in San Jose for the aptly named Fear FestEvil — a multi-day hybrid horror and music convention of sortsKirk Hammett, Metallica’s lead guitarist, is heading the operation; in fact, this is the second annual iteration of the event, which he created himself
