In honor of Tommy Boy's 20th anniversary on Tuesday, a sentimental David Spade reflected on making the film with late comedy great Chris Farley.
In a post to Instagram, Spade recalled one of his fondest memories from working with Farley, who died in 1997 two years after Tommy Boy premiered. The two were friends well before hitting the big screen together— they starred on Saturday Night Live between 1990 and 1995.
Im told that today is the 20th anniversary of Tommyboy. Aside from that making me older than fuck i have to say thanks to everyone who saw it and has said nice things about it over the years. I was very lucky to be in this movie with one if the all time funniest mother fuckers the late great chris farley. Its hard to read but on the poster it says " david, lets stick together!
