Catholic bishops in Massachusetts don't want Boston bomber to die

With the death penalty phase of the Boston bombing trial about to begin, Catholic bishops of Massachusetts told the world Monday that they don't want Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to die


The Massachusetts Catholic Conference released a statement saying they "believe that society can do better than the death penalty."


While the conference acknowledged that Tsarnaev may have committed horrible crimes, it also argued that he would never again be a threat if he were imprisoned for the rest of his life
