LONDON — A British football club is offering young footballers training in the law and ethics surrounding sexual consent in the first programme of its kind in the UK.
The Protect, Inform and Prevent (PIP) programme for male and female footballers at Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club aims to explain when, in law, consent can be said to have been given, the BBC reports.
The training is said to be led by a former police detective and a psychotherapist and will involve confidential question and answer sessions about players' previous encounters. Read more...
