Six people — including a woman and a child — were found dead inside a Chicago home on Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Chicago police were responding to the home in the Gage Park area of the city Thursday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
Officers first arrived at the home to do a welfare check, CBS Chicago reported. When they arrived, they found the bodies of four men, woman, and a child with stabbing and gunshot wounds, CBS reported.

Police were expected to release more information on the homicides at a news conference Thursday afternoon.
