Three Chicago police officers were wounded Monday night in a shooting on the city's west side.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted that three officers had been shot, and they were each expected to survive.
The shooting took place just before 10 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Polk Street, near the city's North Lawndale neighborhood.
The shooter was killed at the scene, the Chicago Tribune reported. Information on what led up to the shooting was not immediately available.
