Brisbane-based reporter Alex Bernhardt, who has had her share of bad on-air experiences in the past, was filming a TV news package for Channel Nine on Tuesday when she was filmed receiving a nasty bite from a bull ant.

The Australian Museum says there are 90 species of bull ant in the country but they all share a "potent venom loaded sting" and the ability to FUCK YOUR SHIT UP.
