Logan Rhys James, 19, taunted police on Facebook as they sought to arrest him in connection with a parole violation. He was arrested two days later.
The Gwent Police Department in Wales asked their almost 65,000 followers on Friday for help finding 19-year-old Logan Rhys James.
James, who was released from prison on Feb. 6, was suspected to have violated the terms of his release, according to police. He was originally convicted on affray, or disturbing the peace.
"Due to the fact that Logan, who was released on licence, breached his licence conditions he has been recalled to prison," police said.
Not long after the post went up, police got a tip from the man himself.
The BBC reported that James also gave a phone interview to a reporter, saying he had stayed in his home town and was avoiding police. He estimated it would take them at least a month to catch him.
"I have been walking around near home so they're not trying too hard to catch me," he said, according to the BBC.
Just a guy on the run, looking to go out and have a good time.
Not exactly keeping a low profile.
